I’m watching Rings of Power again. I don’t know why, besides the fact it’s just beautiful on the screen. And, knowing who the characters really are, to see the sprinkles of foreshadowing.

I’m curious is it different watching it a second time knowing the big twists at the end? Are you noticing more visual subtext leading to the reveal?
Not so much visual, but the dialogue is gorgeous. Review the scene where Halbrand is in his cell talking to Galadriel before she’s thrown into a cell. Technically, he never lies to her outright. Also, the dialogue is rich with Tolkien history and lore. Just had to rewatch certain scenes to hear it. Also, Halbrand does love his forges 😉
