The current log line is (which I’m still not happy with):

🔥 BURN 🔥

An unrepentant celebrity chef tries to relaunch his failed career as vultures from his past and his criminal family seek to profit off him, but his worst enemy remains himself, as he struggles with sobriety and his own rampant ego.

I'm liking what I am seeing here. But yeah I agree it needs a little more work.

I’d say just boil it down and clarify it a bit.

With the vultures still picking at the bones of his failed career an unrepentant celebrity chef attempts to relaunch his career while he struggles with sobriety and his rampant ego.

I thought I would attempt to rewrite your logline.

And I appreciate it! I’ll take all the help I can get. 🙂

Let's be honest you already had everything there. I just played around with it a little. Sounds like a strong premise for a script.

I appreciate it. The pilot came together pretty well, so I remain hopeful. 🙂

I’d kill to write the second episode.

I don’t. That’s one of the things I’m starting to work on.

Yes, I cover it on my TV course which you have access to as a yearly member. So I'd say check that out and it walks you through what to do and I provide examples.
