we’d eaten at the local Vietnamese place and loved it. But as my wife ordered it she mentioned, “they close in 9 minutes, so who knows how good it’ll be.”
and stupid me, I still ordered the chicken…
Wow. Your wife is incredibly insightful. I’ve never actually had Vietnamese food so I wouldn’t be able to tell if its good or not!
It’s all about the cook time on the chicken.
a decent sized breast of chicken pan fried is gonna be several minutes in each side.
I guess I was hoping a lot of their food was pre cooked and assembled – if I’d thought about it here was no way to get the chicken cooked enough in the time until they closed (especially when you consider the app we went through is a third part so they didn’t probably get the order for a couple minutes after we hit send).
