We are looking for completed, feature-length dramedy or dark comedy/drama scripts (no straight dramas please) with limited locations and limited characters that can be filmed in SoCal. At this time, we are specifically looking for scripts that are 100 pages or less.

We are specifically looking for a scaled down story where the script is all about the main character’s emotional journey with no B or C plots. We’d love a script where the main character engages in a singular obsession to get what they want and goes through/suffers an emotional crisis trying to get it.

Movies that we like that have the kind of emotional journey we are looking for include “Birdman,” “Punch Drunk Love,” The Wrestler,” “Black Swan,” and “8 ½”.

Our budget is not to exceed $250,000. Only non-WGA writers should submit at this time.
