Alright, who's seen Infinity Pool and what did you think? I just saw it over the weekend and I was surprised I hadn't heard more about it. Let's discuss! Btw there is a photosensitive epilepsy seizure warning at the beginning of the film for those who plan to go see it.
Ok! Now I have to see it!
Saw it on opening night, what a trip!!! There is no other word I can use to describe it.
Had no clue what to expect going in, had only seen one promo. I'm a huge fan of the filmmaker's father (David Cronenberg, of "Scanners" and "The Fly" fame), but this is the first film I've seen of Brandon's.
I dug it. Loved the moral/ethical questions it raised.
But I can imagine it'll be pretty polarizing. Not so much because of the ethics, but because of the Cronenbergness.
As for the photosensitivity warning at the beginning - it's no joke! One sequence in particular is the strobe-light equivalent of getting hit by a car, which just happens to be a major plot point, so I'll stop before I drop accidental spoilers.
